MAX Indonesia is an all purpose organic fertilizer company located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia which focuses their daily work to educate and help rural farmers grows their plantations by their products. During my work in MAX Indonesia as a business developer, I was also entrusted to develop a new fertilizer product line to target a whole different market, the urban customers. In addition, they wanted it to have an elegant look and yet easy-to-use to match their brand personality.

With the many similar products in the market, the challenge was to create a distinct packaging that is luxurious/fashionable, attractive, and yet simple.

Market and user researches, culture and trend studies, ideations and testing led me to the final design, MAXLITE – MAX Indonesia's first plant food mist for urban customers. It's mostly made out of transparent PET bottle to spotlight the plant food color and the company's trustworthiness. I played with black and green color to match with the luxuriousness. Also, the sprayer and added ingredients on MAXLITE make it ease for the customers if they want to feed their plants – Just spray once every week.
